This time we introduce Eszter Laki, a real creative graphic designer from Budapest. Her works can be found in almost every corner of the city; as she designed the corporate identity of several restaurants and entertainment venues, and the highly acclaimed cook book, Menü's graphic work also belongs to her. She travels a lot, so several different impressions form her taste; a real wandering soul, who filled with inspiration during her trips, and uses it in her work.

Munkáival lépten-nyomon találkozhatunk, hiszen számos étterem és szórakozóhely arculatát tervezte, de hozzá köthető a Menü szakácskönyv grafikai munkája is. Rengeteget utazik, így sokféle inger formálja ízlését; igazi vándor lélek, akit utazásai szüntelen inspirációval töltenek fel, s ezt munkájában kamatoztatja.
One thing is constant when it comes to fashion: minimalist design is what really stands close to Eszter, this is why she chose this iconic MEI KAWA piece. The location is Dobrumba, where Eszter is a co-owner and designer. The restaurant's atmosphere is defined by the bright yellow, the green of the plants (which are under Eszter's care), and the rustic pastel shades; all these provided the perfect backdrop for Eszter's photoshoot.

She paired the MEI KAWA trousers with her own clothes, and the result turned out to be a modern, urban spring wear. The yellow and white colors create an exciting contrast with the dark blue high-waisted trousers. With it's soft flow and narrowing shape, it provides a feminine and elegant appearance. In her dressing, Eszter is fond of the simple, yet unique lines, which makes this MEI KAWA piece an ideal choice for her. With it's clean style, it can be varied with many type of clothes, for different occasions.This delicate, pleated material can be a stylish match with a silk shirt that highlights the trouser's shape, but also goes well with a casual sweater-sneakers combination. Are you more of a hunter or a gatherer when it comes to clothes?
Both. I’m hunting while gathering. The too big range frustrates me; I like to find the only “treasure” among small variety. I’m constantly selecting my existing clothes, so I won’t fall into the trap of abundance.

What do you like the most about your MEI KAWA piece you are wearing?
Because it can be combined in many ways, it's a real essential piece. You can wear it with a shirt for an elegant occasion or with a T-shirt on weekdays. I strive to have some iconic clothes, that you don't have to think about a lot in the morning. I like that the material doesn't get crumpled, which makes it a perfect choice for traveling.
