This year, Marie Claire Fashion Days was organized for the 8th time, where it was an honor to showcase the next SS17 collection. MEI KAWA presented the new collection's pieces as the closing part of the block of Hungarian contemporary designers on Saturday.
Idén nyolcadik alkalommal rendezték meg a Marie Claire Fashion Dayst, melyen nagy megtiszteltetés volt bemutatni a MEI KAWA legújabb, 2017-es tavaszi-nyári kollekcióját. A szombat esti hazai tervezők blokkjának zárásaként vonultak végig az új kollekciónk darabjait viselő modellek a kifutón.
In the next year’s spring-summer unisex collection the hidden details form the clothing. The soft color combinations of the clothes used in the collection are accompanied by exciting and eye-catching, bright colored accessories, which provided a memorable and sometimes astounding experience. The brand's well-known characteristics of playfulness can be observed in the collection coupled with geometric precision and artistic consciousness.
A jövő tavaszi-nyári uniszex kollekcióban a rejtett részletek alakítják az öltözékeket. A lágy színkombinációkat izgalmas és egyben figyelemfelkeltő, élénk színű kiegészítők dobják fel, melyek maradandó élményt nyújtanak. A márkára jellemző jól ismert játékosság geometrikus precizitással és művészi tudatossággal párosul.
On the runway some of the collection's defining pieces have a special graphic design on them, thanks to an extraordinary collaboration with Szőke Gergő, a Hungarian graphic designer. The clothes shown on the runway with these designs on them are one of a kind pieces, because Gergő drawn the playful sketches right onto the material, giving them a sense of unrepeatability. The music, which was made in close collaboration with DJ Manek, perfectly reflected the mood of the clothes.
A kollekció egyes, hangsúlyos darabjain nem mindennapi grafikák figyelhetőek meg. Ezek mind egy különleges kollaborációnak köszönhető egyedi munkák, melyeket Szőke Gergő grafikus hozott létre. A játékos mintákat Gergő közvetlenül a termékre vitte fel, így készítve egyedi és megismételhetetlen darabokat az alkalomra. A bemutató zenei aláfestését DJ Maneknak köszönhetjük, akivel szoros együttműködésben jött létre a set, így remekül reflektált a ruhák hangulatára.
