The Marie Claire Fashion Days was held for the 9th time this year, and we had the pleasure to introduce our 2018 spring/summer collection on Saturday at the Hungarian designer's block. The most striking innovation of the new clothes are the colors: vibrant reds, orange, cobalt blue and salmon colors create flashy contrasts. However the main feature remains the unisex line, but this time you can also find some really feminine pieces in the collection.
Idén kilencedik alkalommal került megrendezésre a Marie Claire Fashion Days, amelynek szombati napján, a magyar tervezők blokkjának kezdéseként mi is bemutattuk 2018-as tavaszi-nyári kollekciónkat, amelynek legfeltűnőbb újítása színvilága, a hideg és meleg színek ütköztetése. Élénk pirosak, narancssárgák, kobaltkék és lazac szín alkot feltűnő kontrasztot a kollekcióban, amelynek fő jellegzetessége továbbra is az unisex vonal, azonban néhány kimondottan nőies darab is megtalálható benne.
The inspiration of the MEI KAWA garments often comes from architecture and from geometric shapes - this time art was the main influence. The typical forms and colors of Russian constructivism started those first ideas from which this special collection was born. Kazimir Malevich the Polish-born, Russian-Soviet painter often pictured human figures in unmatched colors together with their clothes, which is reflected in our new SS18 garments, just like the square and minimal shapes of the constructivist school.
A MEI KAWA ruhák inspirációja gyakran az építészet, és geometrikus formák - ezúttal azonban a művészet volt a fő ihletforrás. Az orosz konstruktivizmus jellegzetes formái és színei indították el azokat az ötleteket, amelyekből végül ez a rendhagyó kollekció született. Kazimir Malevics lengyel származású orosz-szovjet festő figurális alkotásain gyakran szerepelnek az emberalakok felemás színben ruháikkal egyetemben, a konstruktivizmus szögletes, minimál alakzatai pedig szintén fellelhetőek az SS18 ruhák szabásvonalaiban.
The well-known playfulness of the brand is again coupled with precision and artistic awareness.The collection is based on solid forms, offsets, color and material contrasts, and uniqueness and functional urban minimalism remain central to our garments. We would like to highlight the colorful belts and jewelry that accompanies the collection; this latter is a result of the collaboration of the designer, Emese Kasza and Rebeka Rácz (Rebu Ceramics).
A márkára jellemző jól ismert játékosság pedig ismét precizitással és művészi tudatossággal párosul. A kollekció a térbeli formák, hajtások, szín-és anyagkontrasztok mentén épül fel, az egyediség és funkcionális városi minimalizmus pedig továbbra is központi szerepet játszik ruhadarabjainkban. Érdemes kiemelni a kollekciót kísérő színes öveket, valamint az ékszereket; ez utóbbi a tervező, Kasza Emese és Rácz Rebeka (Rebu Ceramics) kollaborációjának eredménye.
A fashion show is more than just presenting sartorial work of arts, because every collection has a story, that we are trying to pass on through the music, the order of clothes and the styling of the models. Egy divatbemutató több mint szabászati műremekek felsorolásszerű prezentálása, hiszen minden kollekciónak van egy története, amit ilyenkor a zene, modellek és ruhák sorrendje által megpróbálunk átadni.
